thanks for the input i will try to remove and clean the couplers, but i don't believe it would hurt the pump if it runs with caps on because the quick connects when disengaged will act as a stop the same as a cap ( as when the backhoe is not attached ) i have called the dealer and they suggested warming the valve on the control box for the hoe , it did not work and the temps have gone up so i do not think it is frozen, rather it is probably a blockage as you suggested. thanks i will keep trying as not to have to load up and take it in to the dealer($$$$).
