Yup! Probably spent a lot of time idling and putzing around. I've seen other(IH) tractors slobbering out the exhaust for the same reason. Put it work for a couple hours and open up the throttle before you determine somethings wrong. You could put some conditioner/injector cleaner in the tank. It may help and the carboard in the rad is a good idea to get it up to proper operating temp. I was told on my Cat 3204 when it was rebuilt to not let it idle for longer than neccessary. Some engines will get so slobbered up that won't even rev up and a 3204 is one of them. The newer Cat engines could idle all day with no ill effects. Diesels are made to work. Dave
