I'll bet every guy on here punched on this one. Sorry to disappoint. Grandpa's barn in the '50,s. Does anyone raise Brown Swiss anymore? Every drop of milk our family drank (and there were many) came from these gals , through a strainer pad and into cans. We filled our mason jars full , still warm , once or twice a week and headed home. No pasteurize , homogenize or anything. Just scrape off the cream every morn and fill cereal bowl and glass. Out of us 4 boys growing up on our own farm later , no broken bones and no cavities to this day! Spose these gals were at all responsible?? Used to be scared to walk down between their heads when 6 or 7 yrs old. Grade "A" barn do ya think?? The way it was in the '50,s. Randy. ( those other cattle were from our own farm early '60,s)
