The forecast here in southern Ontario is for a light dusting Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, which we have now, and then a big dump tonight, about 12", with strong winds. The station in Detroit says it will be a "huge, crippling, paralyzing snowstorm". Their words, not mine, it's a quote. They shouldn't do that, scare the public half to death. Or maybe the big store chains got them to say it to boost sales.
