Mom used to buy the cheap straight leg baggy ones so we made her "peg" our jeans for school. You do remember pegging your jeans don't you? You turned then inside out and put them on and had someone "pin" then to fit your legs taper and then took them off and stitched then , basically just making a new seam only this time they FIT! Turn them back outside out and you had a taylor fit pair of COOL jeans! Then there was the "cuff" thing too. That one in the "cool" jeans is my brother, he is 62 now.
