I have not been to church in maybe 40 years but that is a topic in itself and not the point of my post. My elderly mother needs to go to church every Sat. evening with three of my sisters and I dividing up the month. Anyway when I take her every 3rd. Sat. I put on a nice shirt and dress slacks. I am amazed at the wardrobe of others in attendance. Worn jeans and sweatshirts. These are not teens as very few teens attend this church. These are people 60s and 70s. Men and women alike. Of the 5 people up on the alter assisting the priest, 4 of them had on jeans. I guess I am old school but I think if you are going to worship what ever your beliefs you should show some respect and dress up a little bit. Sorry if I stole your thread but it has jeans mentioned.
