A lot will depend on the blade. I have a swing boom on my truck and have loaded a good number of blades and it handled them almost as if they where not there and that was on the 500lbs setting so under 500lbs by a good bit but those are the light duty ones. I do have one that I use on my 841 ford that is probably all of 500 lbs maybe more
