You asked about Pelee Island earlier, well I live in the neighbourhood and Gramps lives a little further down along the "BUMP" left by the last glacier.
Gramp's farm is littered by that glacial rubble, aka rocks!
Pelee Island does have a great deal of history, I understand that the USA had to give it up after the war of 1812, in the "Treaty of Ghent"
