My 855 Deere is a 4x4, but I found that using a counterweight took enough weight off the front that whan the blade was at an angle, it pushed the frontend around too much. Wheel weights or fluid in the tires keeps the weight on the tire instead of on the frame. Duals work good for flotation, but in a garden, I thing a set of ag tires with wheel weights would be your best bet.
