Just finished reading Starks Harvesters, a gift from my wife. Dont know if you guys have read it or not but I really enjoyed it. It tells the story of contact harvesting through the late 70's early 80's, seems like it was a real adventure but very hard work and only really suited to young men with lots of energy. I assume contract harvesting still goes on in the US and Canada, if only I were younger I think I would really fancy a summer doing that. I have just started reading one of my other presents which is The Journals of Lewis and Clark so I guess that will also be interesting reading. Bill
