Not diminish the sacrifice the dead officer made but I think it's entirely over the top. If read you right there were 800 cruisers ie. 800 cars?? I think that is outlandish and extravagant. How much fuel, meals and possible overtime pay did that circus cost the various counties and municipalities? To put things into perspective here; how many times have you seen a Marine or soldier who was killed in Afganistan or Iraq get a funeral like that? That kind of abuse of our tax money needs to be reigned in.
