I'm probably in the colder North than you, here in Edmonton. Would have to know the whole story. Most lawyers are in it for the money. If it's not worth it for them, they aren't interested. They usually want a retainer up front as well. I dealt with one lawyer on my dads estate and he was good. A few years later I used him again and told him about a situation I had. I had a bad mark put on my credit rating that was totally bogus. This lawyer completely agreed and said that if I ever had a problem getting credit or a loan because of it, to let him know. He said he would love to go after Creditel, Equifax and the other credit bureau's because he was hearing a lot of similar stories. As long as a company is registered with one of the credit bureau's, they can put a bad rating on a customer without any investigation what so ever. Dave
