I have had both of mine done. One 3 years ago and the other 4 years ago. It was getting to were everything was dark and blurry. Driving at night was out of the question. The procedure wasn't anything and the results were immediate and very impressive. The difference was amazing. I can now see good and I don't even wear reading glasses anymore except if I am reading something fairly small in low light.
I remember when I was a kid my mother had it done, the surgery was serious and the recovery period was a long drawn out ordeal. With the procedure they use now it is almost a non event and I could see a whole lot better an hour later when I walked out of the building. My wife drove me home, I got in my truck and took off.
