Sounds lke a win-win situation for both of you. Your friend gets his pipes hauled and you get your tractor hauled. If I were your friend I would offer to pay all the fuel costs, even for the extra miles you have to go for the tractor, and buy lunch. You get a companion for the day who will help load ect. Discuss how it should be paid before you hook up your trailer. If he balks ate paying the entire fuel bill, remind him you are not asking for anything for the "wear and tear" on your pick=up and trailer.
