I used to have a job running a "chickenbine" for the local chicken factory. It had to have synthetic hydrolic oil. We blew a line one night and the shop didn't have any more hydrolic oil so our boss went to wal-mart at 2am and bought about 20 gallons of cheap UTF. By daylight every O ring on the dang thing was leaking. He learned that it had special O rings that normal fluid would eat up.
This contraption has been the only thing I have ever been around that used synthetic do I don't know what put'n synthetic in something made to run on normal oil will do.
