I heard a boom just a little while ago. Looked out the window and a pickup had hit the culvert at the west driveway and spun around. Set off the airbags. I could see an older kid trying to pull an older guy out across the seat without any luck. The wife ran out the door and told me to call nine one one. The road is glare ice and it's too cold for the salt to work. Didn't think the ambulance would ever get here. The old guy had just had heart surgery a few weeks ago and probably shouldn't have even been driving. The kid was recovering from a broken hip. The wife was getting nerved up. Said the old guys heart was slowing down and he was having trouble breathing. Meanwhile, the idiots were still whizzing by as if nothing was going on while the nose of the pickup was sticking out in the road. Some days I don't think ANYBODY should have a drivers license!
