Well I think I may go with a cheaper brand winch and build me a weather proof cover to cover it with after mounting it on the trailer. The receiver type winch mount is a good idea but I do not care to remove my 2 Warns from my truck and bronco to do this as they are both recessed in Warn winch bumpers and would be more trouble than its worth. Found a 10000 lb winch on Ebay for $299 with free shipping that looks like a pretty good deal, it is a Vortex brand. Never heard of those before but I did notice it is sold through a dealer in my home state of Alabama, think I'll give them a call as they have a phone number listed with their ad.
