Tracks are bad if you have stumps or big rocks and other stuff that will cut them. Tracks are way better in sand and mud but for general use, tires work just fine and are way cheaper to replace or repair. Tracks give better flotation and traction for the same size machine. A lot more maintenance with tracks though. Dave
