He is also a Plank Holder of the USS Cole. He was assigned to it wnen it was being built in Newport News. My wife traveled to its comissioning in Fort Jackson, and we were both given a tour of the ship while still in NPN. Our son was reasigned to the Sacromento just before the Cole was bombed in Yemmen.
