I bought a computer at Best Buy and got the extended warrantee. The CD drive died so I took it in, told them what the problem was, I was told 7 to 10 days. When the time was up and checked on my computer and I was told "Oh we never said 7-10 days, we send the computers to a place in Chicago, it will be 3-4 weeks". When the 4 weeks was up they contacted me and told me they had found the problem with my computer, it had a bad CD drive, and they would have to order a replacement. When I finally got it back it worked fine, but what sort of regional repair center wouldn't have CD drives in stock?
I have bought some stuff at Best Buy since then, but I will never buy an extended warrantee from them again.
