You're not boring us at all, Allan- We that are technilogically challenged just skip over this stuff. We assume that someone besides you understands it, and let it go at that. It used to bother me when I couldn't understand something- but now, I'm just sliding effortlessly into geezerhood, and its like water off a duck's back.
Don't know if I can agree with Cowman that you need more cows- I never found that to be much of a solution to anything. A very wise man told me about 30 years ago that I needed to limit the scope of my part-time farm, because the smaller the multiplier, the lower the losses. I took it to heart in 1985, and sold every cow critter on the place. It worked out well for me, except I married a woman who was addicted to horses. I had no concept that an animal that is about the same size as a cow could cost 3 times as much to maintain.
