Well, where I live, I am quite a distance from the nearest tractor dealorship/parts store.
The parts store in town carries all auto/pickup/tractor and farm implement parts, fluids...etc.
But, this afternoon my son and I went out and started the tractor. My son engaged the PTO and then both front and rear hydraulics began working. Why, I don't know. I never had to engage the PTO before, that I know of, to use either the front loader or the rear 3 pt hitch. I know thqt when I use the post hole digger I would raise the front bucket (loader), then turn the handle back the other way so that the bucket stayed up and the rear 3 pt hitch would work. Then, I would put on the post hole digger and engage the PTO and dig post holes.
As,d I said, I never had to engage the PTO to use the front loader.
