Watched a situation unfold from my window in college, across the street from the Alpha Delta Pi sorority house.
Young lady's father had bought her a 1966 427 Corvette- she could never get it started in the winter (she drove like the church lady, and it was so carboned up it would barely run). After several episodes of the tow truck guy coming up and getting it started for her, it disappeared and a nice sensible Chevy II showed up in its place. I often wondered what they gave her on the trade- maybe $2,500?

Today's Featured Article - New Life for an Old Allis - by Tyler Woods. My friend Jon, has an old '39 Allis Chalmers B. He thought it a marginal tractor that had long since served its time.
