When I was in high school there was a kid that had a car very similar looking, same size, same color, also foreign, but it ended at the windshield. The front end didn't stick out like that, and the engine was in the rear. It was a two seater, and didn't have side doors. The front end opened and swung to the drivers side to let the driver in first to slide behind the wheel, and then the passenger got in and swung the hatch closed. I have no idea who made it, but might be related. As I recall, the front tires were bigger than the back, and would have been a toad or frog if it was alive.
Enjoy that thing. No way to fit an 12V71 in it, is there?
