There are several lead mines in our area, and the drilling and loading equipment is mostly electric, but the transport rigs are diesel, as are the tractors used to drag the electric cables around when the electric equipment is moved. No gasoline engines allowed due to carbon monoxide. These mines have exhaust and intake fans big enough to drive a motor home into.
