After pulling the shaft back out, I discovered that the O'ring that retains the shaft in the housing had rolled out of its groove on one side and had kicked the shaft off-center. The cup seals were undamaged so I didn't have to replace either one so after eliminating that little issue and reinstalling the pump, bleeding the air and checking for leaks, the Roosa Master is back at work. jdemaris was right when he stated that "resealing" one is easier than rebuilding a Rochester Quadra-jet Carburetor and the Roosa Master has less moving parts.
