I have a series of books that I inherited from my Grandfather. It is called "Farm Knowledge". The latest copyright date is 1919 if my memory is correct. My favorite book is about "farm machinery and equipment". At one point in that book, the author states "In this Author's opinion, the Tractor will never replace the horse as primary source of farm power". I am thinking that that author would sure have been surprised. My grandfather and I talked many times of the changes he saw in his life between 1895 and 1998. Tim in OR
