Weve been shellin since the day after labor day. Weve not had very much rain here in southern In since June. The corn is plenty dry and the yields have been a lot better than I had thought. My best ground that normaly goes 200+ did around a 165 average but some of my poor ground has been in the 120 to 130 range. I started in a field today(till the combine broke down)that was only runnin about a 100 and the kernels looked like pop corn kernels. We have only cut a very few beans and what beans are there are like bb-s and the stems are green and tuff in spots. Were gettin along really well with very few minor brake downs or problems with the help.
