My Unit 226 S&S was ahead of Airmen coming into VN When we got there we had Pallet floors inside tents We were Army , but we had 3 Airmen assigned to our unit as overseers of their incoming supplies.
When Phu Hiep was fully under construction and was being used for small fixed wing aircraft from Cessna 160 and Australian Carabu ( funny looking hi winged planes that hardly needed an air strip) Our unit went on to Tuy Hoa and a larger Airstrip was put in there.
