I know- when someone suggested chaining it to the loader, the first thing I thought of was when we lost a track on a tank, and the tech sergeant sent a greenhorn kid back to the motor pool in a jeep (about 5 miles away) to get a skyhook (and a BFR). The greenhorn was me. I didn't know what a BFR was, but I knew about skyhooks. It was a hot day, and I figured a ten mile leisurely jeep ride was preferable to whatever they were going to do, so I played along.
When I got back, I reported that the skyhook was already on loan to another unit, and that they were supposed to "acquire the BFR locally." They had the track back on, and said "Yeah, we found a BFR" and pointed to a large rock nearby, that they had used to wedge against the track to force it back on. Everybody had a good laugh at the gullibility of the greenhorn, but I sort of had the last laugh, I think.
