got the minnie home early this morning, idled home in 1 st gear, that just plain dont look right, kinda like picking yourself up by your boot straps, but it worked. and ....kruser sold me that dandy jack stand that he scored on e-bay from alan for only $59.97. even comes with a 2by8 cut to length!!! (kinda looks like a cinderblock to me, but he swore he got a certificate of authenticity from alan!!!) (fear not, its on a 3 ton stand now) i think i got a line on a spindle, hopefully will get this ol' gal back working again. looks kind of like the king pin set up on the old ford pickups.
