I assume the NH's you're talking about are 7610 'S' models rather than the 80's 10 series tractors.... and also TB110's. The reason for their use is likely a much cheaper price than the higher spec tractors... but you still get a decent hydraulics package and a wet PTO clutch... plus they're heavy built, near indestructable tractors. They're simple with few electrics and stone cold reliable. That's largely why they use them. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one.
