If you buy it, buy it with the intention of doing a complete overhaul. Diesels are not cheap to overhaul. It's costing me almost $5K to overhaul my D17 Allis diesel with ME providing all of the labor. What started out to be just replace a leaking head gasket morphed into finding another block and total overhaul.
