If you have disc brakes, there's a small drum inside the rotor like said, and you adjust it with a screw driver to spin out the little star wheel on the adjuster just like any drum brake with that set up. There's a rubber plug on the backing plate that you need to take off. I have seen one where the shoes linings came unglued from the actual brake shoes in there, so if you have a lot of free play all of a sudden, I would check for that. It made a clinking sound when moving sometimes.
