I've got a 6 volt system on my 720 diesel, the regulator charges a few amps to recharge the battery after starting like it should but if i turn the lights on it doesn't charge enough to keep up with the lights, it'll show discharge on the amp gauge. When i ground the generator directly it'll charge plenty to keep up with the lights but don't want to do that all the time though. Is their anyway to adjust the regulator to keep up with the lights but yet when the lights are turned off to resume back to "normal" charging ?
