If you bought the outfit used, are you sure you have the correct size PTO pulley? I know the PTO pulley for the Woods 42 on the Farmall Cub is about TWICE the diameter--and therefore moves a LOT more belt per PTO revolution--compared to the PTO pulley for the Cub sickle mower.
Seen new Cub owners try to use the pulley for the sickle bar on the Woods 42, and then wonder why the blades weren't turning fast enough. That's why I ask this question.
