Had difficulty getting 1st cutting off - still have 3 acres of 1st to go - because it was either under water or raining .05 to.10 inch of rain every other day - literally every other day.
Just too wet to make hay.
Those with alfafla esp putting it up in plastic have a great year; those of us with grass hay have really suffered this summer here in southern MN.
I won't see much 2nd cutting either - was too wet. Most of my hay ground tends to be the wet grounf the govt won't let me drain....
