Hot and dry. First cut on the coastal field was early for weed control and the production was light.
Second cutting was extremely heavy because we had to wait 3 weeks past the time it was ready because of rain.
Now, its a typical August. Had 19 straight days of 100+, one day under 100 (yesterday) and then back to 100+. Don"t remember when the last good rain was.
If we get a good 2 inch rain, we might get a light 3rd cutting.
I"ll be glad when fall gets here and we say bye to the 100+ days.
