Southern-mid Manitoba second cut finished and third is well on it's way. Those in the area that were not on the ball have just finished first and we're getin rain every 3 days, 2-3 tenths so not alot just about right.little further north they haven't got first cut done as the feilds have been to wet to access.Alot of complaining going on.They want the goberment to pay them so they can keep there cattle.I say sell them and quit askin others to pay for your stupidity. When cattle prices soared here and we had dry years they went and paid a fortune for flat land beside the big lakes.when we had nice years that land was always to wet,now its under water for the last 2 years and they want bail out money. One guy we sold hay last year had 3 sections and had bought all new equipment 3 years earlier. He had plans on makin big money on canola.Nice JD combine and couldn't get on the feild.to me that is a gamble to farm land that is flooded for 4 out of 10 years.Be no diffrent than buying a loto ticket and askin the goberment to pay you if you had the wrong numbers.
