Not many Stellars jays (the classic "blue jay"- all dark blue, with topknot) around western WA anymore, but plenty of scrub jays. They moved in about 20 years ago (I remember when I saw the first one, in 1989). Oppossums are another non-native import- they came in the mid '60's, according to an old neighbor, although I probably saw my first one in the '70's. They seem to have adapted well- plenty of busy roads on which to commit suicide.
