There is a weep hole on the bottom of the fuel pump. Is that the source of the leak or is it really coming out of the bottom of the governor housing? It is common for the seals in the pump to go bad over five and a half decades and is a fairly easy repair. It is also common for the old girls to slobber with age. Some say the answer is to work them good and hard.
