I have a similar issue with my baler. One hose to the cylinder that moves the thrower side to side leaks a little and once in a while the cyl wont move one way. If I idle the tractor down and move it back and forth it starts to work again. Wierd. I suspect the leak is causing the problem because other implements do not do this.
I intend to fix the leaky hose one of these days to see if the issue goes away. Do you have any leaks?
