Today I approached a traffic light at an intersection of two state highways. Is traffic controlled and always red for my direction, unless triggered by traffic from my direction. Was green for me, and a couple cars had just cleared ahead of me. I was planning on turning right. Took a quick look to the left, and slammed on the brakes. Was still green for me as a PU truck pulling a large boat on a trailer came flying thru his red light. Never slowed down. If I hadn"t been being careful for light runners, as I teach my driving students, I"d been history. Stuff happens!
