All that is fine if you have hundreds of hours behind the wheel of a tractor and have common sense but now days few people have either one so the ORC and or live PTO is a must have. I would not and never will tell a person how to get by with out live PTO or an ORC. Why you ask because doing so could well get some one hurt or worse dead so just because you or I can do it does not mean it is smart to do so or safe to do so. And yes you may have done it for decades but one of these days you might end up hurt because you did not see something. That is like using a tractor with a loader and having it up high with a load. Ya you might get by with it but it is just plan stupid to do so
