I watched the most increditable thunderstorms I have ever seen. The 11:00 news said there was 103 strikes per min. It sure looked that way from my back yard. The landscape was lit up like daytime, with green trees and red and silver barns showing clearly with each flash. I got very little rain, but just north of me there are reports of flooded roads and 1"+ hail in areas around Albany NY 50mi. east. We now have a second round coming through and I am now getting substancial rain. I live on high ground and will never get flooded, 1466' above sea level. Albany, an inland deep water seaport is at sea level.I love watching thunderstorms. If only we could harnice this awsome power, for private use.
