I think they do that to cover the cost of those who pull in with their one junk peice to keep from paying admission to go to a show. At one of our shows, its been thrown up to charge to exibit, but it never passes. Ive watched a few guys pull in with one old engine in theback of the truck and say its their exibit, only ot leave a couple of hours later. Another show I use to work at had 70 to 90 tractors, antique cars, etc. each year for 25 or 30 years, all of the admission went to local charities. Last year they announce they were going to charge exibitors 25 bucks. 2 tractors, and one car showed up.
