This isn't the whole story, but maybe it will explain a little. The smaller models like the 360, 445,460, 560 and 610 were made by the Uzini Tractor Works in Romania under license from Fiat. The larger models like the 900 and 910 up through the 1310 were built by Zetor in Czhechoslovakia. I'm not sure which current country the factory is in since the "Velvet Revolution". Long continued to market the Uzini tractors as Landtrac until Long went out of business. The Farmtrac line was based on Ford design and built by the Escort company in India.
