Jim I agree with your logic on this but still seems odd to get 2 or 3 of them in a row but ya could be the same lot number on them also. Talked to the manager of the hard ware store about it also and he agreed with what we are thinking also so swapped it out not questions asked. If this one holds up for a week I'll take this one I pulled back and get a new one just to hang on the wall so I have a back up on hand. If I had not lost the recipe on the first one I would not have had 2 of them burning out in less then 2 weeks so maybe this will be a blessing LOL
