Years ago I did some baling right behind the rake and this year I could get away with it on a lot of my dry ground, but most of the time I try to get a good two hours drying between raking and baling. It is obvious that yours is very dry. My wife used to bale while I stacked on the wagon, but the nearest I can get her to it now is to give me a ride when moving from one farm to another.
