making some late first cutting just accumulated this field on the 4th of july baled it last friday wife raked while i baled and daughters carried water to us as it was miserablely hot bale in the pic didnt turn out right gate on baler wasnt latched so we unroled it and rebaled it 54 jd 70 gas nh 479 haybine 43 jd b case rake ford 551 baler thats me you see raking in the pic i done the outside rows before starting to bale then the wife took over hay is half crop this year

Years ago I did some baling right behind the rake and this year I could get away with it on a lot of my dry ground, but most of the time I try to get a good two hours drying between raking and baling. It is obvious that yours is very dry. My wife used to bale while I stacked on the wagon, but the nearest I can get her to it now is to give me a ride when moving from one farm to another.

i done the outside then went and got the baler so i started an hour behind her but i quickly caught up she wont go as fast as i do then i miscalculated my gas so i had to run for more wich put her ahead again lol she dont like to run that tractor cuz its my baby but i say i need help and its for her horses so thats how that happens
